Summary
Brazil and Mexico together hold most of the postings in our sample.
DevOps is the largest role in the sample, ahead of cloud engineering and solutions architects.
AWS is the most cited provider among postings that name a cloud.
Among postings that state a work setup, remote is the most common.
Pay is listed on very few postings, so this is a disclosure story, not a salary level.
Countries
Brazil accounts for 41.1% of postings, followed by Mexico (25.8%) and Colombia (10.6%).
Postings by country

| Category | Value | n |

| Brazil | 41.1% | 1,072 |
| Mexico | 25.8% | 674 |
| Colombia | 10.6% | 278 |
| Argentina | 8.1% | 212 |
| Chile | 4.3% | 112 |
| Peru | 3.2% | 83 |
| Costa Rica | 2.6% | 67 |
Brazil holds 41.1% of the postings and Mexico 25.8%, with Colombia third at 10.6%. The top three markets together account for 77.5% of the postings. A further 58 postings are remote roles that don't list a country; we keep them as their own bucket rather than dropping them.
Work arrangement

| Category | Value |
|---|---|
| Remote | 37.5% |
| Hybrid | 31.2% |
| On-site | 31.2% |
Among the 1,885 postings that state a work setup, remote leads at 37.5%, with hybrid at 31.2% and on-site at 31.2% nearly tied. The other 726 postings don't say.
Roles
DevOps is the most posted role, at 34.0%, followed by Cloud Engineering (19.6%) and Solutions Architect (19.3%).
Postings by role
% of April 2026 postings
| Category | Value | n |
|---|---|---|
| DevOps | 34.0% | 889 |
| Cloud Engineering | 19.6% | 511 |
| Solutions Architect | 19.3% | 504 |
| SRE | 12.3% | 321 |
| Security | 7.5% | 195 |
| Platform Engineering | 4.8% | 125 |
| MLOps | 2.5% | 66 |
DevOps is the largest role in our sample at 34.0%, roughly a third of the postings. Cloud engineering at 19.6% and solutions architects at 19.3% are nearly level for second. SRE follows at 12.3%, then security at 7.5%. Platform engineering at 4.8% and MLOps at 2.5% are the smallest, and MLOps rests on 66 postings, so read it as directional.
Senior roles make up 24.4% of the postings, so most postings are mid-level or below. There is no prior month to set this against, so treat it as the baseline share.
Top employers by postings, April 2026
| Employer | Postings |
|---|---|
| EPAM Systems (staffing) | 86 |
| CI&T | 38 |
| adlytics GmbH | 24 |
| Capgemini | 23 |
| Softtek (staffing) | 18 |
| Accenture | 17 |
EPAM Systems tops the list with 86 postings, well ahead of CI&T at 38. Staffing and recruitment firms account for 9.3% of the postings overall, so a meaningful slice of the sample is intermediaries hiring on behalf of others rather than end employers.
The steady core of what postings ask for is AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure, Python, and Docker. We will read changes against this April baseline in future editions.

Cloud providers
AWS appears in 68.3% of postings that name a cloud, Azure in 55.7% and GCP in 37.4%.
Provider mentions

| Category | Value | n |
|---|---|---|
| AWS | 68.3% | 1,620 |
| Azure | 55.7% | 1,620 |
| GCP | 37.4% | 1,620 |
Among the 1,620 postings that name at least one cloud, AWS is cited on 68.3%, Azure on 55.7%, and GCP on 37.4%. These shares overlap and add past a full count because a posting can name more than one provider: 38.6% of provider-naming postings cite two or more clouds. About six in ten postings name a cloud at all, so the rest are silent on which platform.
Tools
The most requested combination is Kubernetes + a named cloud (29.1% of postings). Grafana appears in 58.3% of postings that name an observability tool.

- Years of experience listed 5 · n=1,403 Median minimum is around five years where stated.
Salary appears on 7.1% of postings, so the story here is how rarely pay is posted, not what it pays. Within the 186 that disclose, solutions architects post the highest median at $53,000, ahead of DevOps at $35,000 and cloud engineering at $32,000. With so few disclosures, treat these as rough markers, not market rates.

Data-annotation gig work (Mindrift, Toloka, Scale AI, Outlier, and staffing platforms). Tracked apart from the cloud and DevOps pool; postings are deduped the same way, since one platform repeats a role hundreds of times.

The April sample
Distinct postings published in April 2026.
We counted 2,611 distinct cloud and DevOps postings in April 2026. This is the first published edition, so it sets the baseline that future months will be measured against.
Methodology
How it was built
We collect cloud and DevOps job postings from four major sources (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Workable, and Greenhouse) and remove duplicates, so a role listed on two sites is counted once. We restrict the set to seven cloud and DevOps role families and scope each posting to when it was posted within the month. This edition covers April 2026 and sets the baseline for future comparisons.
Solid and soft
Country, role, and provider citations rest on most of the sample and are the solid part. Salary, certifications, English level, and years of experience appear on a minority of postings and are exploratory. Small markets that rest on a handful of postings from one site are held back rather than ranked.
Known limits
This is a biased sample, not a census: it measures the postings we track, not all hiring in the region. Most postings come from two large job sites, so the picture leans toward what those sites list. Remote roles without a listed country are kept as their own bucket. Being active is not the same as currently hiring, so we scope on the posting date.
We exclude AI data-labeling gigs from the main figures and report them only here: 123 postings, or 4.7% of the postings we track, fell into that bucket in April 2026.
