Methodology

How it was built

We collect cloud and DevOps job postings from four sources (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Workable, Greenhouse) and count distinct postings dated within the month. A role posted on two sites is counted once. The cohort covers cloud engineer, DevOps, SRE, platform engineer, security, solutions architect and MLOps roles. April 2026 is the baseline, so every comparison runs against April only. With two months of data, every month-over-month figure is a comparison between two points, not a trend.

Solid and soft

Solid: total postings, country shares for the larger markets, role shares, provider mentions, and work modality, all resting on large counts across multiple sources. Soft: smaller markets, salary, certifications, English level and years of experience, which rest on smaller counts or limited sources.

Known limits

This is a description of a biased sample, not a census of Latin American hiring. Remote roles that do not list a country are kept as their own bucket, not dropped. Salary is bounded to a plausible range and reported as a disclosure rate.
