Methodology
How it was built
We collect cloud and DevOps job postings from four sources (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Workable and Greenhouse) and remove duplicates, so a role listed on two sites counts once. We keep only roles posted within the month, across seven cloud role categories: cloud engineer, DevOps, SRE, platform engineer, security, solutions architect and MLOps. July is the fourth published edition; the comparison base is June 2026.
Solid and soft
Country, role and provider signals appear on most postings. Salary, certifications, English level and years of experience are sparse.
Known limits
This describes the postings we track, not a census of the market. General information-security and architecture roles weigh more in July than in earlier months. June's count was revised up slightly because some June postings were added after that edition. From July we count a posting as an internship only when it offers one.
We keep AI data-labeling and model-training gigs out of the main counts. This month there were 603, about 8.1% of the size of the main pool. They are reported only here.
